Mint Ginger Lime!!!

Its Summer..so i thought of posting my favourite summer drink called as Mint Ginger Lime.
Mint is not only known for its cooling and refreshing properties but it also has many health benefits.Lemon refreshes and is an excellent source of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants.

The combination makes an amazing cool refreshing drink.Here are the steps:



To make this drink for 4 you need:
Lemon  2
Ginger  1 tsp chopped
Mint      25-30 leaves
Salt       to taste
Water   400 ml

Steps:
1.Add all the ingredients to a mixer  and blend well.
    (tip:add little water at the beginning,once everything is blended well and you get a thick paste add remaining water to it.)

2.Strain the juice in 4 glasses and add ice cubes.

3.Garnish with Lemon or mint.

Enjoy this refreshing drink with your friends and family.

How to prepare tea?

I know its easy to make tea.But as this is my first post on my blog I thought of starting with this.

We start our day with a cup of tea(though I am not a big fan of drinking tea I enjoy preparing it).
A good tea in the morning makes our day.

So I am going to give you the steps to make tea:


To make tea for 4 you need:
Water  2 cups
Milk   2 cups
Sugar  4 spoons
Tea   3-4 spoons(depends how strong tea you like)
Ginger/cardmom (as per taste,its not mandatory)


Steps:
1.Pour 2 cups of water and milk in a pan and place it on the stove.Put 1/2 cup extra water as some of it will evaporate.
2.Add crushed ginger/cardmom to it and wait for it to boil.
3.Add sugar and tea leaves.
4.wait for 3-6 mins. on low flame until the contents boil and you get the desired colour(redish-brown).
5.Strain and pour into cups and enjoy.
